Repairs to Kit as Summit Approached

Having covered so many miles across crevasses our kit has suffered badly and required significant repair. Fortunately the high winds abated allowing us to fix as much as we could. We covered 36 miles and are pleased with this progress.

Our next day saw strong sidewinds which hampered our speed as we approached the summit at 8000ft. We travelled 28 miles, the weather conditions making for slower skiing.
