Update on Travel Conditions

Current weather conditions are of very low visibility, at times below 200m. Therefore we are unable take the helicopter to our start point, as the pilot is reluctant to attempt to clear the mountains. We now await the team who were to share our insertion home flight and potentially face a 3/4 day delay. The forecast is for continued light snow, but shows sunshine on Monday and Tuesday, we hope this will be our window to fly. Morale is very high and we are both keen to get started. Good contingency planning from the outset means, even with this slight delay, we remain relaxed and have every confidence we can still achieve our aim in good time.
