It is what it is

Sadly Wilki and I have to announce that we have had to abandon our attempt on the icecap speed record due to a persistent low pressure system which has made access to the icecap impossible. We have been stranded in the settlement on Tasiilaq for 10 days and are trying to make our way home once visibility allows the helicopter to fly. I'm using a slow satellite internet link now and so will write more soon, hopefully from Iceland or London.
